MA4201 Redundant encoder, HEAVY DUTY (NEW)

Redundant encoder for positioning purposes. The MA4201-series is a range of encoders supporting combinations. Either of two incremental encoders integrated into one enclosure. The other options is to integrate one incremental and one absolut encoder supporting communication protocol SSI. Additional incremental signals can also be provided with TTL or HTL output levels on the absolute encoder. The redundancy makes the MA420-suitable for use in safety related applications.

The extreme robust design and encapsulation of the encoder and features such as breathable membrane filter and double shaft seal protection enables it for use in Marine or Off-shore environements. Mines & Cranes are two other suitbale fields of operation for the series.

Mechanically is the MA420-series based on a ø11mm solid shaft with key-way to prevent slip. The mounting flange is compatible to previous tachogenerator interfaces including a B10 mounting flange.
